Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 not recognized as touch

description

The SupportsTouchScreen capability for this phone shows up false although it is a touch screen phone with no input keyboard.
The model number shows up correctly as SCH-i910. Could you update this in your next release?

Hi,

Could you provide us with an User Agent for this device?
This issue isn't reproducing for the the User Agent we have:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile 6.0) VZW:SCH-i910 PPC 240x400

Hi, I have a Samsung Omnia and use the Opera browser that came with it instead of IE. I found it reports the following User Agent string as provided by the page at http://www.zytrax.com/tech/web/browser_id.shtml

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; PPC; 240x400) Opera VZW:SCH-i910

When browsing to a test page I made using the .NET Request.Browser object, it doesn't seem to recognize much of anything. No type, name, version etc. the isMobilDevie property is false, as is the SupportsTouchScreen.

Hope that helps.
